Melissa GaltShe embarked on a life of travel and adventure – while growing her career - including, bungee jumping in New Zealand, hot air ballooning in Africa, tandem skydiving in North Georgia, and parasailing off the South Carolina coast. Professionally, Melissa began with a degree from Cornell University and a career in hospitality purchasing, but reinvented herself with entrepreneurial success that encompasses an illustrious career in interior design, acclaim with audiences nationwide with her programs on life design and celebration, and popular publication of her books and articles. Melissa truly savors each day and the many flavors it brings and advocates tasting, smelling, touching, hearing, and seeing all the many wonders that this incredible journey of life offers.

Melissa also admits to being inspired and awed by the stellar success of her late Godmother, costume designer to the stars, Edith Head as well as her late great grandfather, the legendary architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Their continued persistence and insistence to lead original lives of unique talent and contribution have contributed to Melissa’s desire to show others how they too can lead lives that rejoice in every day, and CELEBRATE!
